- First of all I want to take this time to introduce myself. My name is Cindy and I am a One Stroke Certified Instructor, as of Nov. 2005. I have been doodling in painting and doing Ceramics, since I was a teenager, and always loved doing things with my hands. I used to be a beautician, took cake decorations (I would like to use my talent to decorate cookies), knitted (I still knit Christmas Stockings), sold cosmetics, Tupperware, Avon but wasn't enjoying any of it. In 2004 I found my calling and decided to pursue my talent. I went to a 3 day hands on seminar on painting in October of 2005 (The One Stroke Technique by Donna Dewberry) from 8am-5pm. It was exciting and a fun experience. I paint on most anything but my favorite item is glassware
